Dr. Richard Chan Nutrametrix

2011 Colette, Chéri

Colette, Chéri (1920), Ed DeBolsillo , 2010

In Colette 1920 wrote one of his best novels, Chéri. The protagonist of Lonval Léa is a major per-versions of Colette, a famous courtesan is a woman chosen by the author to represent the new woman to the Belle Époque and the roaring 20 wanted to show.
But his boldness does not stop there. The novel tells the love of reading with a mature young man who belongs to the world as the son of another famous prostitute of the time. The Loves of Léa and Chéri are complicated and mixed them attractive as the author, as if it were a love potion, the most primary passion of lovers, with a disrupted power relationship, plus a mother-child play with shocking ingredient of the age difference for Chéri, of course. All this makes the novel in an essay about relationships without thereby missing the humor, the story and plot that make Chéri a very entertaining novel.

Léa a woman is not defensible for feminism is not a model. But still so attractive, so contemporary! Colette invented Chéri to enter established taboos and puts on the table to re-think of the prejudices that are still within us, inherited from our great-grandmothers: the age difference when she's older, the fear total trust in a relationship, the lovers who do not consider the future, the erotic can be a maternal attitude, what does a woman approaching menopause, and what does a young man when set to a mature woman, how important is the Beauty ...
She walks openly, openly, and tells the love between Léa and Chéri. The Frears, is an elegant version of the novel.

female identity is a process and the writing of women involves us in this process in which the writer seeks try to define the basis of the experience of creating art .

Adrienne Rich, are born of woman

Adrienne Rich, We are born woman. Motherhood as experience and institution . Feminisms Lecture Series 1996.

Feminist pioneer and interesting Adrienne Rich, and theoretical and as a poet. In this book, writing in the seventies but revised in 1986 including an introduction updater, I find issues that I find quite useful to think right now, and it clearly cleared by writing Rich, uniting theory with experience cleverly embodying feminist premise: the personal is political. We are born of women as a way to remember the need to build feminine genealogy, motherhood and the patriarchal political institution, which aims to keep women under control spreading stereotypes about motherhood as an unequivocal and unconditional fact, compared to motherhood as an experience that elicited feelings Search and opposite, like all other human relationships.

I always interested in their political and collective perspective, his reproduce here a paragraph which also cites a poem by his friend Audre Lorde :

Women are born was praised and attacked by what was considered his strange approach: personal testimony mixed with research and theory derived from them. But this approach never seemed strange, as I wrote. What still seems strange is the "absent author" the author who sits speculations, theories, facts and fantasies without any personal basis. On the other hand, recently I felt that the thesis of women's liberation movement of the late '60s that "the personal is political" (a thesis that helped give birth to this book) is being covered by a blurring of the New Age -staff-to-the-personal-self, as if "the personal is good" had become a corollary, forgetting the thesis. Audre Lorde question in a recent poem:

"What we want from each other after being told our stories
We want to be cured a quiet moss to grow over our scars we want the all-powerful sister that will not scare
that will make the pain go that last not so "

The question of what we want more than a" safe space is crucial in terms of differences between individual accounts with no place to go, and a collective movement that empowers women.

How To Make Chili Costume

Alison Bechdel, Fun Home

Alison Bechdel, Fun Home , Mondadori, Barcelona, 2008, 232 pp.

"A family tragicomic" is the subtitle that Bechdel chooses to recount his past and, incidentally, make a comic than I had been doing so far.

And so Fun Home leads to a Victorian house with a complicated father and a mother misunderstood. From the outset the story of Bechdel interests t the time not by the drawings, not thrilling finish at any time, but history has the intelligence to be reckoned with sufficient credibility, sincerity, level and feelings expected of a good story.
Alison Bechdel analyzes, dissects times the figure of the father and his relationship with him, to understand both love and sexual choices and in their intellectual choices. The difficult father figure will gradually be drawing throughout the book to go, in a way, creating parallels between parental options and those of the author.

Bechdel is one of the best known figures in current U.S. active lesbianism and the comic has won several awards since its release. Kd lang The singer reminds me androgynous and provocative aesthetics.

Indian Supermodels Boobs

THE LOVE STORY OF THE CENTURY. Mouth on a text by Marta Tikkanen.

I recommend you you go to the Market Theatre, until Sunday 14 November, to see the play The love story of the century by mouth on the poems of the same name by writer Finnish Märta Tikkanen. Directed by Mariano Anós and cleanly played by the wonderful actress Ana Garcia, who pinpoints the powerful verses written in the seventies by Tikkanen to explain the destabilization terrible that her husband's alcoholism led to his life and those of her four children. The clarity of the text is reflected beautifully by the sober staging and the luminous performance of Ana García. Despair lost love, suffering and fear of children, writing, past-his mother and grandmother of the protagonist, and the future of those same children. The allusion to the situation shared with many other women, and complicity in them to succeed. All this in a direct and daily language that dissects the aftermath of the events until the impenetrability of the words becomes clear as he writes his own Tikkanen.

mouth also has a teaching unit and in parallel, Unnamable Books has reissued the book of poems, previously published Hyperion and was discontinued. It is difficult to choose a poem, I leave you with this.

ACCOUNTS
ME that I fall asleep by the door and
indoor resting her head on the dog so many nights that
biked
crying the day he
your dog died the dog meant more to you
your father and your mother always
were drunk and were never at home
nor knew what to do with you

is sad and cry

I'm sitting in a chair in front of you
and I have time to think about many things
because history is not short
and not the first to see
I hear you

still counting and I there in the chair I wonder why
say nothing of the nights when your children
have not dared to sleep
but have gone into hiding behind the corner
to watch you play it safe so
dad will not
started drinking again right?
how is dad?
here does not smell of brandy, right?
sure you sure
no drinking tonight?

While you cry until he fell asleep
because there are so sorry to have you
so having had an alcoholic father

I keep wondering if he could sit
burn my hate and
become white ash

while you're lying there whimpering
not think for a moment
your children also have
father

Clear Cervical Mucus 2 Days Before Period

social network. A story of men

I see the network and catch me without remedy and facebook me is evidence that, once again, a matter of men. Created by men (or a colleague or friend was invited to participate in its infancy), the origin of the idea of connecting people born from a personal vendetta of its creator to a former girlfriend. The film shows how a brutal sexism is still alive today among the intellectual elite and its most brilliant representatives lack the maturity to face with dignity the failure of a personal relationship.
The betrayals are occur throughout the film, but really one of the most outrageous is the one taken against the girl who makes him see their shortcomings. Internet becomes, with these uses, in an unbeatable weapon, with which you can not defend nearly any way.
The cruelty of revenge as well as the success of the idea of facebook completely surpasses its creator turning their own fears, prejudices, in games that are thousands of people.
I can not understand the character of the bride's friend, partner. One of the few women who have a role the movie ends up being a most dangerous psychopath. Only the first conversation between the protagonist and his girlfriend makes me like the writer. And yet, I think it is a naive view, I think, without a clear denunciation, is intended to see how the university today is full of topics from relationships, inequality and sexism that is still pouring into the great inventions XXI century.

For all this, I recommend the movie at all, because it is a good movie, because you learn a lot of things: how the world as "one of the best universities" in the world, how it was created fb, how it triggers a huge snowball economic, legal, commercial, coiling the players, why give so much value to this network, and how bright a person's shortcomings are reflected in its creation. And because if anyone thinks that today no longer need feminism, if you think you have already achieved equality, respect and therefore do not need a ministry of Gender, just about, for example, this film and know that we still have a lot.

And in the background is a love story that does not exit, where he is wrong as well ...

How To Help Get Over Broken Hymen

Daniela Ortiz in the Columbus Day

40 hours per week job in a boutique of high quality sweet English. Robo 3 sheets of 24 carat gold and a chocolate Guanaja on 12 October. While working the chocolate coated with gold and I like celebrating Columbus Day.

Daniela Ortiz (Cuzco, 1985), who worked at a bakery in Barcelona luxury gold sprinkled with more refined products, updates the modes of action conceptual art. Text and photo appear describe an action without further explicit ... but not so: the action challenges us using the mechanism of ellipsis, that is, what is not here but maintains a direct relationship depicted is fundamental for understanding the meaning of this piece.

articulation also occurs between the forms of wage employment, artistic and political within the same business how to produce from the artistic policy? How art practice slide in paid work? How ...?

You can read about all this and More on the great text Marcelo Expósito has written for the latest release of Daniela, and see the work of this artist in Zaragoza next spring ... but that will inform you and timely (!)

Masterbasion For Women

; Miss.Ontherocks Signature invited a singer, Russian Red. Welcome back!

I love your glasses. And lipstick.

And his voice, which caresses as soon as tears, the strumming of his guitar lead you to hide under the covers and close the blinds, do not leave the music out or into reality. But they also encourage the waist loom over the railing, laughing uncontrollably and swing on the meter of the nouvelle vague who has returned as a silent tsunami in the body of this young Madrid (because yes, it sounds amazing is English) and revolutionized my vision of the folk and contemporary music.

Rarely is an artist disclosed that way in front of the camera, as an eternal post-teenage girl he loves to do makeup and well cute photos, but that is not hidden behind them. Clarifying that before liked the retro clothes, and soon discovered that without the need to tell us that until she is shy and does not, he would not pursue music. But playing with each verse as if his voice in English was that of another person, flirt with the notes as if the pitch did not have limits, and makes you feel you want to get to sing with her but my throat is sore throat tired and broken. Lourdes Hernández
not cut the time to clarify that it is mortal, and appreciated. But her music ... well, hopefully his music is not.

Alicia Rhodes Leaving

[Sonando: Uzzhuaia - Shadow makes you shiver]
[Book: The Dark Elf]
[Series: The Big Bang Theory 4x01]
[Game: Kingdom Hearts. Birth By Sleep]

When I was little, I do not remember exactly why, we went in the school in which they asked us to make a list of things we thought were most important in our lives, ordered from largest to smallest. In first I thought it stupid, it was not nobody's business but mine and something I was unable to prioritize, let alone capture it on paper as a kind of absolute truth about myself. Well, I guess that at that age I did not think those words, but I remember that feeling.
But I was also concerned to keep my record in style, where the only blemishes were some attitude problems, according to all the teachers I had from then until I finished high school.
So I had to.

And what could make first? Place the first word in the list below meant leaving all the others.
I took a look at my partner's responses and some more. In all cases, the family occupied the first place, and it seemed that was what had to be.
And I thought, if you put it, was putting members my family over my friends, or I will not deny it, strangers who had given me something, as it could be a writer or a musician. I could not deny it then or do now, there are friends and unknown people I treasure more than all those people with whom I share a bond of blood or political.

often recognize that many people say that "The blood does not love", but on the other side say there are things that are made by the family that is not done by anyone else, like some kind of sacrifice or the clearest example is usually the loan of money. Sorry but it is a sovereign contradiction. And lie. And very, very hypocritical.

There are members of my blood family that I only see at weddings, christenings and wakes. I do not know their names, just remember their faces, or what they do, or what exact relationship unites us. And I'm not interested at all. I do not want to invite me to their weddings, it is absurd to go to celebrate an event so important to people ... if you do not know anything. Regardless of how much I like to "fix".
course, but "we have to invite the family." Is that the absurdity abounds everywhere. You can not invite all your classmates, because ... no, but you have to invite the sixteenth aunt by the father to which you have seen it twice for two seconds during your life, because if not, you're a terrible person.

There are members of my immediate family which often I can not stop hating. I'm not talking about momentary tantrum or disagreements you may have with my parents, then talk more deeply about them. I'm talking about take years enduring humiliating treatment, having to shut up because "we must respect our elders" and "You can not fight with the family as a friend from school, because they are your family will always be there."
hate, hate, hate, and hate that ... how I can call? "Belief?
What have these people in my family for me? Why what they have to always be there, being of the family?
addition to family gatherings hate me, which I always have, from very small, a book or a console, because I was never allowed to participate in a conversation, unless it was with anticipation that pedantic and proud to know that if certain topics are raised, and I may speak, I get mad, and always fun to see me angry.
Really that's normal? "What you need to take? Well I like it!

I've never had too clear if this is normal in any family, or is that mine is particularly nasty. Of course I envy anyone who tells me that it happens tit at family gatherings. Me I wish I had not ever come to these conclusions.
But what I see are always tensions, discomfort, comments back, talks about what is true or not, before one or another person, almost like carrying a script, knowing that in reality, nobody wants to be there around that table, we all change to do anything else. But do not say out loud, you can not admit to people that your family is less important than your classmates, friends since high school or hold an English Sir suffering from early Alzheimer's.
Seriously, if I look at my life in perspective, for instance, Terry Pratchett, a writer I've ever exchanged a word, has given me more things and "more positive" and that in general, have made me happier and have taught me much more and better than almost all people that share a genetic link. Or Chris Claremont, with yes I have spoken, and I remember much better and with more affection and emotion those few sentences that all cross with members of my family in over 20 years. And so I can say about any musician or singer whose songs tell me something. Or a character from a television series, which may have taught me more than just keep quiet when adults speak even though they have no idea what they are saying (and tiny atrocities have come to listen) or at least made me laugh instead of mourn.
not worth me "But you ..." My what? no, sorry, not enough a name of relationship, a cartel. I have not chosen, not because I have so glad not to accept or act accordingly.

But that day in class, I ended up putting the family as the first in the list, because I knew no one would accept my explanation. It was one of the first times where I stopped to avoid discussing the truth and outraged many. Although I did not say out loud, was very clear that this word referred to my parents, period. For

Furthermore, I have the "lucky" to have a special relationship, in the best sense of the word, with my parents, something that not many can say, as I have seen. So in no time I felt this emptiness that say that only family can fill.
My parents are my parents, in the biological sense and less important of the word, but also in the ... call it true, because they have acted as such life, worrying about my education and happiness in equal measure.
And if now I should say "Hey Pic, you really are taken."
Well, first, of course not call me at home Pic (but sounded funny) actually say they are upset because they had a hard time find a name (that is to have eggs) so that now people call me "3'14".
And second the magic of genetics can not deny that I am the daughter of my parents.
But if that were true, perhaps offend me because in 24 years is too long to tell, but do not worry me more. Parents are acting as such (unless it has prevented a disaster), not enough to give you life. To give you life time they had them better than anyone, is not enough to win the title of father.

If the situations seen in my family relationships experienced by a group of friends, that group and not exist, but this protects the kind of mystique that family, any sacrifice is justified.

Normally, we all make a very comprehensive selection to get to meet some friends who appreciate, with whom they feel comfortable in any situation, we trust first. But we accept the imposition of family miserable existence you and make you feel miserable with yourself for thinking ill of them.

may cost me understand many of these wonderful links being an only child. I grew up watching the brothers fought like any friend from school, but the difference was that lived in the same house, and sometimes even shared room. So, the dispute seemed resolved because there was no other option. In contrast, the same level of disagreement could trigger not to return to speak with that person. But the magic of blood union that you can forgive it anything. It's something I can not understand, much as I see it. My mother says it is something that grows when you grow up with someone, you can not explain. Must be that. Same is the same link I have with my parents, forged throughout my life and thanks to which I consider a different level than our differences.

Nylon Duffle Bag Washer And Dryer

βʀight Sʈαʀ Russian Red. MAMMOTH

βʀight Sʈαʀ of Jane Campion

is the latest film by Jane Campion . A film of time a romantic movie, and it is, but as in previous stories, the director gets to skip the conventions of both genres and make something different. Get you have intimacy with the person sitting in the chair because it is not only to teach a story also wants us to play the protagonist fabrics and sew dresses and we discover with her the poet Keats .

details are endless in this film that would give film-forum for a small, meticulous and quiet conversation. The best: the evolution of it since adolescence youth, toughness to tenderness, from the frivolous to the deepest sensibility, which, in turn, allows you to find so close a man full of literary imagination out of the ordinary. The steps you take her for love are tall against what Keats makes him the same love.

The game launches Campion subtly at the beginning of the story would make the competitive art of writing and the art of sewing is a rivalry that creates beautiful images. And not just at the time, because the film is filled with moments of delicacy difficult to see (the butterflies, male singing group a cappella scene is no more important and unforgettable beauty.) And as long as the poems of Keats in the background.

The film makes you want to smell the heather and the apple blossoms, to read Keats and to see her again. I wish the film shows Women's recovered again to enjoy such beauty in silence.

Ladies Head Shave At Festival

care Edith Wharton, The House of Mirth

Edith Wharton, The House of Mirth (1905), Alba, Barcelona, 2008

is almost as stupid to allow clothes betray a knowledge of reality itself
as letting proclaims the presumption of one's own beauty. p. 110

When speaking of education offered to women corseted until just 50 years, is often mentioned restrictions attached to such female education, but few attempts have been made to see the vital conviction which involved the management of a life into a model designed primarily for a single valuable object.

was Edith Wharton one of the writers who most lucidly and boldly expose heard this sentence in novels like The House of Mirth .

not be fooled by appearances. While she indeed turned his literary space in upper class New Yorker, not only wanted to describe a world he knew very well and certainly not writing for this class. The House of Mirth it is devastating and there is no room for hope. Not because the thesis could have posed no way out, "Trends inherited had joined an early education to become the highly specialized product really was: an organism as helpless out of their small size as the sea anemone torn from the rock. It had been formed to adorn and delight: and what other purpose nature round the rose petals and paint the hummingbird's chest? " (pp. 349-350).

This is the beautiful Lily Bart , the tragic protagonist of a history of complaints almost shouted, apparently wrapped in loops of elegance and finesse but an irony so acute that strikes like a dagger: "... the circle Mr. and Mrs. Wetherall was so large that God was on their list of visits "(p. 68). Spurred by a possible but unlikely poverty (with the ugliness, dirt and mediocrity that goes with it) the protagonist goes into a spiral of misunderstandings caused largely by a single woman status, which allows the author show how the social status of early twentieth century was locked in so tight social norms, so oppressive, so unfair to all women who gave them no and break out "the bell jar" implies the destruction of his own character . Years Sylvia Plath later reach the same conclusion.
Mahler's election is no accident. Some of the pain and the inability to achieve the beauty and perfection that so many of his Visconti reflect on the novel by Thomas Mann Death in Venice (1912), is already in The House of Mirth (1905).

Cheap Threading Calgary

The Chaos

[Sonando: Chunchunda of a party ...]
[Book: The andalite Chronicles]

Earlier I discovered webcomics by Marcos Arroyo, author of Leie and Cartoon Heroes, who had known enough for the Animorphs channel and began to read to him and Moran in " Hey man! ". I had already met once with comics hanging on webs and had browsed but never followed one very hard.
then Elf discovered because of other webcomics, I went to drop the WEE (webcomics in English) as a groupie, and I was trapped between the works of such great authors as part of that community. But

I have to admit that my favorite webcomic is The Goonish Shive, who also discovered because of Elf. Dan Shive do not know if he planned to go so far when it started back in 2005. Yes, the greatest difficulty that I find the time to recommend this comic to other people is the number of strips that leads so far but believe me they are read as usual.
Why engage EGS, engages and very passionate.
is a story of magic, martial arts, aliens, modification, alternative worlds, double wicked ... all with well-constructed characters, which is impossible not to appreciate and surrounded by thousands of geeks references in which notes that the author is and try that anyone can still enjoy the story, but without ever losing the charm and smile to recognize things.

In some ways reminds me of the idea of Buffy, with a set of actors all quite different, some joined by former friendship, and others as the story progresses through different circumstances.

One of the things I like about EGS is the way to Dan's talk about love and relationships in general, because you know that I am so sappy and often of that in what I fixed, so no has nothing to do with causing many series marujeo on an "as is bundled with this and then just then fight and blablabla "
Their partners seem real couples, not like those seen in the series, which are together because other and throwing each other topicazos sexist and all the interest seems to rest on whether to fight for a silly or misunderstanding ...
And while his characters have single, but still do not seem bitter or lonely simple comic relief, I do not know if you see what I mean, are real characters.

Yet the best thing is that although it is a story with teenagers Protas, does not revolve around their trouble, or a thousand times that a couple breaks to form another, but are a natural part of the background of things supernatural that happen to a group of friends who are witches, alien-animal hybrids, martial arts experts based on anime or perverted scientific genius.

is great as this guy can spin more than a saga about a weapon that can change sex to people without falling into typical jokes about sex or artificial, but serves some of the characters realize the error involved personality and actions awarded to the difference of a single chromosome that exists between men and women, regardless of other biological differences.
Or the incredible feat of gay or bisexual characters and that is not its sole and absolute role in the comic, represent to a group and be a source of jokes and Conas about the attitude and way of life that are supposed to have on their sexual orientation. That not a few series / movies / whatever where it occurs.

I am surprised and comforted by their ability to portray sex in a serious, yet hilarious, without being afraid that "if it is about sex is funny," as we live or should live young, as something natural, beautiful and especially for when you are ready, not because he has to do it sooner rather than later.
not neglect the friendship pure and true (oigh, how nice), and different degrees of trust between the characters.

Dan has created his own world, which is in theory more or less like ours, but with well-defined rules of magic and technology, with a trabajadísimo background, while the protagonists attend a normal school.
And all this is done in a realistic way (which is not incompatible with magic or science fiction, if not with the way everything fit), rare is the comic book does not start laughing, using both absurd humor as the most twisted without falling into the foul.

Perhaps at first to scare the drawing, since Dan started it as an amateur, and though not quite aesthetic drawings, have always been able to transmit exactly what happened, using well, such as facial expressions. I love your current drawing style. Thanks to wonder

read this comic (and some others later), I've developed my English enough, especially as they are colloquial expressions. And that is welcome.

I'm not convinced the idea to start talking about your argument because it would be unable to do true justice without reventaros whole story or you start getting lost in the branches, which can only mislead you. Because believe me, except for some details of those he has mocked or repentant, is a history tied very well everywhere.

So I can only to recommend this wonderful comic. How she longed to talk about it ... and could still spend more, but I think that's enough.

Nurse Washing Penis Movie

CELIA, Elena Fortun

Sign Our Guest youngest at the moment: Lola Moreno , with only 8 years , tells of the adventures of Celia.

Celia is a character created by Elena Fortun in 1929. This is a 7 year old girl with a lot of imagination. He does not like too much the greater because he believes that they do not understand, and it makes plenty of mischief!

In 1993 José Luis Borau made six episodes of the television series "Celia" . The writer was Carmen Martin Gaite.

One of the adventures that I like is when Celia is disguised as a fairy, and gets into trouble when his younger brother, Cuchifritín.

I recommend it for your sons and daughters.
Lola Moreno.
